Katelynn Ordone is sharing a clip of the 911 call she made after being involved in a car accident that killed her son, Preston, known on TikTok as “Okay Baby.”
In an Instagram video shared on Thursday, January 22, Ordone filmed herself in the car as she looked off into the distance. Another clip began playing of Ordone being helped as she attempted to walk while wearing a hospital gown. In a third video, Ordone sat in a wheelchair before she showed a photo of the vehicle after the accident.
“When I zone out and people think I’m tired but really the worst day of my life plays over and over again,” she wrote over the video.
At the end of the clip, Ordone shared moments from Preston’s flower memorial as a photo of her son displayed on the screen. “Preston Jae Ordone. December 27, 2022 — April 24, 2025,” the photo was captioned.
“This is the harsh reality of tragedy and grief that a lot of people don’t share,” she added. “I don’t have memory of the day but I was able to get all 911 phone call recordings. #prestonforever #childloss #griefjourney #okaybaby #MentalHealth.”
Ordone paired the video with audio from her 911 call, with an operator asking if she could hear her voice. Ordone replied, “I don’t know. I don’t even know where I am right now. I don’t remember. I don’t know where I am right now.” She became emotional as she asked the 911 operator for help.
Family friends of Katelynn and husband Jaelan Ordone shared in April 2025 that Preston died in a single-vehicle car crash. He was 2. Preston’s parents were in the car at the time of the accident and sustained injuries, but their 7-year-old daughter, Paisley, was at school.
“Katelynn has multiple broken bones. She had a very bad concussion. She walked for the first time today,” the family friend said. “Jaelan had to have emergency surgery on one of his legs, he has rods in them, pins in them. They’re both at different hospitals.”

Us Weekly confirmed in May 2025 that Preston died from “blunt force injuries due to a motor vehicle crash,” with the St. Tammany Parish coroner’s office ruling his death as accidental.
After Katelynn was discharged from the hospital, she admitted that she doesn’t have “any memory” of the incident.
“I don’t have any memory of the accident. I don’t have any memory of 2-3 days after the accident,” she said via TikTok in July 2025. I don’t have much memory of being in the hospital until towards the end. I suffered a traumatic brain injury and lost a lot of my memory.”

Katelynn shared that her dad, Glen Norris, informed her that she made a call moments after the crash.
“The accident was awful and somehow I was able to get ahold of my phone,” she explained on Thursday. “I called 911 first. I was on the phone with them for five minutes. The only reason I know that is because I saw it in my call logs and then my parents have told me that I called them.”
Earlier this month, Katelynn returned to Instagram after a brief hiatus, sharing insight into her state of mind. “I feel guilty [moving forward], but that’s what Preston would want. He wants his mom and his sister to live a good life. He wouldn’t want me sad,” she wrote on January 13.
