A recall has been initiated for tomato soup sold in 14 states, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Tuesday. Grandma Belle’s Tomato Basil Soup, produced by Lil’ Turtles, may contain undeclared milk, which poses the risk of a serious allergic reaction in people with a milk allergy or sensitivity. So far, there have been no reports of illness connected to the recalled product.

Look for the following information to identify the recalled soup:

    • Product name: Grandma Belle’s Tomato Basil Soup
    • Packaging: 17-oz. glass jars
    • Available from: Sept. 23, 2022, to Dec. 3, 2025

The soup was sold at stores in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky, Minnesota, Utah, Oklahoma, Kansas, Mississippi, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Iowa. For a full list of retailers, check the FDA’s report.

If you or someone in your household has a milk allergy, toss the recalled soup and contact Lil’ Turtles for a replacement. You can email customer service at [email protected], or call Lil’ Turtles directly at 330-897-6400.
