Fashion and lifestyle influencer Bridget Bahl shared an update on her breast cancer journey in an emotional post.
Sharing the update via Instagram on Wednesday, August 6, Bahl appeared alongside her husband Michael Chiodo as she revealed details of the latest development as she continues to battle the disease.
“So we have an update, I finally got an MRI. I haven’t got an MRI since I was diagnosed but I got one and we got the results back and they were really good, they were great,” Bahl, 41, shared.
Chiodo chimed in to explain just how positive the results were, adding, “The MRI showed that the chemotherapy has shrunk the tumor so small that it can’t be identified by the MRI.”

Bahl shared her next steps in her breast cancer battle now that she’s received the results of her MRI and expressed gratitude that the MRI showed good news.
“Praise Jesus because it’s been a hell of a ride,” she said. “So based on the results of the MRI and my surgeon’s recommendation, I’ve decided I’m going to do a lumpectomy. There were a few different roads I could choose to go but just based on the results from the MRI, I feel really good about the decision to do a lumpectomy.
The couple went on to explain that now that Bahl is going ahead with a lumpectomy, she will “absolutely” have to do radiation. She will also have to do immunotherapy as well as “potentially more chemo.”
Bahl has been battling cancer for almost a year. She publicly announced her diagnosis in September 2024 via Instagram.
“I found out I have breast cancer,” Bahl said at the time, explaining she was in the midst of her sixth IVF retrieval with Chiodo when she felt a lump in her breast.

“I was maybe two or three days into the shots, and I had the routine blood work, sonogram with my doctor, and I told him I had felt something in my breast,” Bahl explained in the video, saying her doctor advised her to go in for imaging as soon as possible.

Initially Bahl was convinced the lump was just a cyst from the IVF hormones, however the mammogram and sonogram didn’t look promising. Bahl then immediately underwent a biopsy before a doctor confirmed the diagnosis.
“Unfortunately, [she] confirmed that I do have breast cancer and that it has spread to a lymph node,” Bahl revealed, calling the last few weeks “nothing short of a nightmare” as she attended “so many appointments” and tried “to process and make plans.”
