A recall is underway for Great Value cottage cheese sold at Walmart stores in 24 states, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Wednesday. The products may contain liquid dairy ingredients that have not been fully pasteurized, which can lead to illness, though none have been reported so far in connection to the recall.
The recalled cottage cheese, produced by Saputo Cheese USA Inc. (SUSA), and sold under the Great Value brand name, can be identified with the following:
