    • CFIA recalls four Pillsbury Pizza Pops sold across Canada due to E. coli O26 contamination.
    • Illnesses have been confirmed, and impacted products include Pepperoni + Bacon varieties.
    • Infection can cause diarrhea, nausea and stomach cramps; seek medical care if symptoms appear.

There’s an active recall on four different Pillsbury snack products sold nationwide across Canada, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). This is due to an E. coli O26 contamination.

The following chart showcases the products being recalled, including their UPC and lot codes printed on the packaging:

Check your freezer, and if you have any of these pizza snack items on hand, dispose of them or return to your place of purchase for a refund. This recall was announced after confirmed reported illnesses connected with the above products.

    E. coli infection can include symptoms of foodborne illness such as diarrhea, stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting and low-grade fever. If you are showing any of these signs after eating a recalled Pillsbury product, contact a healthcare provider immediately.

For questions about this recall, contact General Mills Canada Corporation at 1-800-230-8103 or through their website’s contact page. You can also contact the CFIA at 1-613-773-2342 or by emailing [email protected].
