Make a delicious and nutritious dinner any night of the week with one of these easy low-carb, high-protein recipes. Light yet satisfying, these dishes have no more than 14 grams of carbohydrates and at least 15 grams of protein per serving. And you only need five ingredients or fewer—excluding pantry staples like salt, pepper and oil—to recreate these filling and flavorful meals. Recipes like our Grilled Salmon with Sweet Peppers and our Lemon-Garlic Steak & Green Beans are tasty choices that can help you meet your nutritional goals.

    One-Pot Garlicky Shrimp & Spinach

This shrimp and spinach recipe cooks quickly for a simple one-pot weeknight dinner. A fast pan sauce gets life from lemon juice, crushed red pepper and parsley.

    Grilled Salmon with Sweet Peppers

It may seem counterintuitive to start the fish skin-side up. But when you flip it, the fish skin captures the juices as it finishes cooking for extra-flavorful results. Serve with chimichurri sauce.

Spinach & Artichoke Salad with Parmesan Vinaigrette

    Ali Redmond

Inspired by the classic warm party dip, this simple salad can be served up right away or divided into small lidded containers for a week of delicious lunches. To keep the hard-boiled eggs tasting fresh, we suggest adding them to your salad just before serving or in the morning before packing your lunch to go.

    Lemon-Garlic Steak & Green Beans

    Jason Donnelly

For a steak that’s deliciously tender, flavorful and not too fatty, we reach for strip (also known as New York strip or shell steak). It has less than half the saturated fat of a rib-eye but is more tender than leaner sirloin. Here, we cook green beans in the same pan used to sear the spiced steak. All those delicious drippings add richness to the beans—plus there’s one less pan to wash!

    3-Ingredient Creamy Rotisserie Chicken Salad

    Carolyn Hodges

We put a flavor twist on the classic chicken salad by using a lemon-herb mayonnaise. Try other mayo varieties—like roasted garlic or chipotle lime—in this fast, no-cook lunch recipe. Serve this rotisserie chicken salad with whole-grain crackers.

Chicken & Cabbage Salad Bowls with Sesame Dressing

Seared Salmon with Green Peppercorn Sauce

A simple sauce of piquant green peppercorns, lemon juice and butter tops this seared salmon recipe. Green peppercorns come from the same plant as black ones, but are harvested before they mature. Typically packed in vinegar, they have a refreshingly sharp flavor. Look for them near the capers in most supermarkets. Serve with smashed red potatoes and sautéed kale.
