Like I mentioned, the standout feature of these containers is their materials. The base is BPA-free borosilicate glass, while the lid combines durable tempered glass with silicone for an airtight seal. Silicone is a preferred option to standard plastic, according to food scientists, because its chemical makeup is more stable and less likely to release microplastics over time.
