I am not someone who seeks out specialized gadgets for specific kitchen tasks, but one exception I always make is an oil sprayer. I need a fine mist of olive oil for air frying and baking because it helps quickly coat ingredients without excessive, uneven amounts. One thing I don’t need? Bad-tasting oil. It’s the main reason I don’t use those aerosol bottles from the grocery store. I don’t love what’s inside, including the taste, ingredients and overall quality.

The second I moved into my apartment four months ago, I knew I needed a fillable oil sprayer that checked a few important boxes. It needed to be compact, made mostly of glass, and capable of evenly showering oil over my ingredients. The Flairosol sprayer is all of that and more.

This oil sprayer is by far the best I have tried. I’ve been using it every week, if not every day, for over three months, and it has many incredible perks, starting with the size. The bottle is tall and slim, and the 200-milliliter capacity is roughly just under a cup of oil. Its lid screws off to reveal a wide-mouth glass base—another key factor for me. Not only is the sprayer easy to refill (I don’t even need to use a funnel), but I prefer my oil to sit in glass because it is nonporous, which will protect my oil from spoiling. Glass also helps reduce microplastic exposure.

When it comes to the actual spraying—arguably the most important part—there’s nothing I would change. The twist-on lid is home to the spraying mechanism, which you hold and squeeze like a classic spray bottle. Because this bottle tapers by the sprayer, it’s very ergonomic and comfortable to use. Its mist is so fine that it seamlessly coats everything from flat slices of tofu to ragged chunks of potatoes. This is partly due to the pressure of the spray: It’s enough to dispense the right amount of oil (around 1 gram) and actually get it on my ingredients, rather than a non-precise mist that sort of floats into the air.

I love that I can fill the bottle with any healthy oil I want. In my own, it pretty much exclusively holds good-quality olive oil, such as my favorite from the brand Heraclea. Because of that, I always know what’s inside and never worry about unwanted ingredients or strange tastes.

I own the green-tinted bottle, so UV light from the sun doesn’t penetrate the oil as easily, allowing me to leave it on my countertop comfortably. But the brand has other options, like this white bottle, for less money. I would just keep it in your pantry away from sunlight to maintain the quality of your oil.

The sprayer is essentially leakproof, so you can pack it for camping trips or cookouts this fall. It has a locking accessory that’s removable and a built-in anti-drip mechanism to ensure you never lose a drop.

There are thousands of incredible ratings from other people who have purchased this sprayer, with one shopper calling it “perfect in every way.” They added, “It is very easy to clean. It feels very high-end, sprays a perfect fan, and feels exceptionally high-end.”

I have nothing negative to say about this oil sprayer. Make air frying, baking and grilling exponentially easier with this high-quality glass sprayer. I know I couldn’t go without it.
