    • Millie Bobby Brown reveals her go-to set snacks: raw baby carrots and Tajín-dusted dried mango.
    • Both snacks support immune health and are perfect fuel for long Stranger Things filming days.
    • She stays hydrated with kombucha and juices, choosing gut-friendly, energizing drinks.

Although Stranger Things is ending this Christmas, Millie Bobby Brown has been cheering our spirits on her press tour by revealing behind-the-scenes scoops. This includes how she’s able to stay fueled and energized on the set of her breakout show.

While making breakfast for dinner on Tilly Ramsay’s YouTube channel, Brown shared the snacks that she kept in her trailer while filming Stranger Things—her two picks are expected and surprising, respectively.

“Raw baby carrots,” Brown says as one of her must-have snacks. Carrots are definitely her favorite vegetable, as she’s revealed time and time again that she loves the orange produce. But another fresh snack that she loves is a sweeter bite: “I like Tajín mango… dried mango dipped in Tajín. I love Tajín.”

The “swicy” snack is simple, but powerful in flavor. Tajín is a Mexican seasoning made with lime, chili peppers and salt. The acidity of the spice is complemented by the sweetness of fruit, so it’s commonly paired with watermelon, pineapple or mango for a punch. You can find Tajín-seasoned dried fruit at some grocery stores, or you can simply sprinkle on the seasoning the next time you’re snacking on dried or fresh mango.

Brown would love our drinkable version of this snack, AKA our No-Sugar-Added Spicy Mango Margarita, which sports a Tajín rim. But on set, Brown’s go-to sip is more of a gut-friendly choice.

“I like probiotic drinks like kombucha,” Brown shares. “I love a good juice.”

Kombucha can be a gut-healthy option as it’s a fermented drink that’s loaded with probiotics, and it’s hydrating which is great for digestion. You can make it at home to control the sugar content—but make sure you have nine days to spare!

And both mango and carrots are packed with carotenoids, which are essential for your eye health and immune health—the latter is important for busy work weeks filming America’s favorite show. We love Brown’s fresh, smart choices that she keeps on standby to stay hydrated and satisfied. While we will miss seeing her as Eleven, we are taking note of her healthy habits she’s shared with fans as she heads into her post-Stranger Things era.
