In my house, we cook pretty much every meal, apart from one or two each week. That means we’re constantly reaching for essential ingredients, like olive oil. Over time, I have gotten so frustrated with the bulk bottles giving me huge globs of oil at once, and my favorite dispenser doesn’t always work in a pinch when I am grilling or roasting ingredients. I started to search for a solution to make it easier to get even amounts of oil, and I am happy to report that we’ve found one.

This Evo oil sprayer was one of our most-used kitchen finds of 2024, if not the most used. It’s made prepping and grilling ingredients fuss-free thanks to its unique spraying nozzle. The best part of all is that it’s $20 at Amazon—a small price to pay for less weeknight stress.

My household uses this sprayer weekly, most often for grilling and roasting, but it’s also great for air frying. It works like those classic aerosol cans we all grew up using, but it doesn’t use aerosol. Instead, it’s fitted with a nozzle that dispenses oil in a fan-like spray that evenly coats the surface of whatever ingredients you’re cooking. This is genius for a few reasons, but the best aspect for me is that it saves time. I don’t have to rub or toss oil on proteins like salmon or produce like squash before I pop it on the grill or in the oven. I just spray and go. The nozzle can adjust to spray vertically or horizontally, depending on what you need.

The bottle has a rounded base that holds 24 fluid ounces, which I love because it means I don’t have to keep refilling it. It’s wide, but its side profile is fairly thin, so it doesn’t take up a ton of space on the counter. I love that it has a funnel for easy refilling, so you can quickly add whatever healthy oil you like. It’s made with BPA-free plastic, which is lightweight for grabbing when I’m outside grilling. I also appreciate the green tint because the added protection from the sun makes me feel more comfortable leaving it on the counter (oil can degrade or spoil with sunlight). You can shop it in other colors, like yellow or blue. We don’t often need to clean it, but we soak it in the sink and scrub it with a water bottle cleaner when we need to. It’s also dishwasher-safe.

This oil sprayer was a complete game-changer for me last year, and it’s still just as useful in 2025. It makes it simple to get an even coating of oil on everything without having to get my hands dirty or fuss with a bulky olive oil bottle. Score one while it’s on sale for $20 and make your life a little easier, too.
