    • FDA recalls Ritz cracker packs nationwide for mislabeling; affected cartons may contain undeclared peanuts.
    • Impacted best-by dates range from November 2025 through January 2026.
    • No illnesses reported, but return affected products or call 1-844-366-1171 for questions or refund info.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced an active recall on multiple Ritz cracker products sold at grocery stores across the U.S. This is due to mislabeling, resulting in an undeclared allergen.

Products being recalled include the eight-count pack, 20-pack, and 40-pack cartons of Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches, as well as the 20-count carton of Ritz Filled Cracker Sandwich Variety Pack.

“The affected cartons include individually wrapped packs that may be incorrectly labeled as Cheese variety even though the product may be a Peanut Butter variety,” the FDA writes in the recall announcement. “People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts may risk serious or life-threatening allergic reactions by consuming this product.”

The Ritz Cheese Cracker sandwich packs that are mislabeled in these cartons have a UPC of “0 44000 00211 4” and best-by dates ranging from “1 NOV 25” through “9 NOV 25” and “2 JAN 26” through “22 JAN 26.” Below is more information on the specific cartons affected:

While there are no illnesses or reactions connected to this recall, those with a peanut allergy may experience symptoms as severe as anaphylaxis. Call 911 immediately if you are showing signs such as hives, nausea or vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, tightness of the throat or cardiac arrest.

The FDA urges consumers to dispose of these crackers or return to your place of purchase for a possible refund. For questions about this recall, contact the company at 1-844-366-1171.
