A Spring & Mulberry chocolate bar is being recalled nationwide, the Food and Drug Administration announced Monday. The brand’s Mint Leaf flavor was pulled from shelves after routine testing discovered potential contamination with Salmonella, a leading cause of foodborne illness in the U.S. So far, no infections have been reported in connection to the recalled chocolate.
To identify the recalled chocolate bar, look for the following information:
- Product name: Spring & Mulberry Mint Leaf Date-Sweetened Chocolate Bar
- Size: 2.1 oz (60 g)
- Use-by date: 03/31/2027

The affected item has been sold online and through select retailers—such as Whole Foods and Nordstrom—since Sept. 15, 2025.

Check your pantry for the recalled chocolate. If you have it, take a photo of the product and send it to Spring & Mulberry at recalls@springandmulberry.com for a refund—then throw it away.
If you think you’ve eaten contaminated chocolate, monitor for signs of Salmonella, including diarrhea, stomach cramps, and fever. Contact your doctor if your symptoms become severe.
