We all want products that are safe for both our bodies and the planet—but clean beauty often comes with a higher price tag. Dime Beauty is a brand offering minimalist, unscented, cruelty-free products that are both effective and affordable. The brand checks a lot of boxes: vegan, cruelty free, sustainable, and a lower price point than a lot of others.
Both Thomas and my mother in law love it as their main skincare. I’ve been trying several of their products—from skincare to body care to perfume—and I’m here to tell you what I loved, what could be better, and which Dime Beauty products are worth a try. What Is Dime Beauty?
Founded in 2018 by husband-and-wife duo Baylee and Ryan Relf, Dime Beauty was created to offer clean, effective skincare at a more affordable price. They’re based in Utah and have quickly gained a following for their minimalist packaging, straightforward ingredients, and commitment to clean formulations.
Their formulas are vegan, cruelty free, and made without parabens, sulfates, or synthetic fragrances. They also cater to sensitive skin types—many of their products are unscented or gently scented with essential oils. From their blue facial oil to their hyper glow serum, it’s a skincare brand with something for everyone.
What Are The Best Dime Beauty Products?
Here are some of my favorite Dime Beauty products, with my thoughts and details on how to use them in your routine.
Tinted Glow Wonderscreen SPF 30
This tinted SPF is one of my top picks from Dime. It has a natural finish, provides just a hint of coverage, and wears beautifully under makeup—or on its own. There are only 3 shades, but they are sheer-ish. I wear the middle one (shade 2) and it gives me a slightly bronzed look.
Key ingredients: Zinc oxide, squalane, and sunflower seed oil.
Best part? It’s non-greasy, unscented, and reef safe. Best sunscreen!
My thoughts: I LOVE the gel-ish texture making it so easy to cover your whole face. My only complaint is that over half way through the bottle I have to start taking the pump out to get product. I wish they’d switch to a more squeezable tube.
Biome Body Butter
This rich body butter is packed with probiotics to help balance your skin’s natural barrier. It’s fragrance-free and contains ingredients like shea butter, niacinamide, and jojoba seed oil to hydrate and soothe dry skin.
Why I love it: It’s luxuriously thick but absorbs quickly—perfect after a hot shower. My skin felt noticeably softer after a few days, and I appreciate the unscented formula. A win for dry, winter skin. Thomas is also obsessed with it, and we both use it a lot in the dryer months. (I like the formula better than Beuatycounter’s Melting Body Balm, but nothing will ever compare to how delicious that Monoi smelled!)
How to use: Massage balm into skin after showering while your skin is still damp to lock in moisture.
The Body Discovery Set
If you’re new to Dime’s body care line, this discovery set is a great place to start. It includes a body oil, serum, and balm—all in travel-friendly sizes.
Key ingredients: Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil, Meadowform Oil all hydrate, soothe, and protect the skin barrier. In the serum, ceramides reinsurance the skin barrier and niacinamide helps retain moisture. Probiotics help reduce inflammation.
Thoughts: This is a great way to explore the line, and the sizes are perfect for travel or gifting. They are unscented and great to layer.
Best Seller’s Perfume Sample Kit
Clean perfume fans, this one’s for you! This sample kit features several of Dime’s best-selling scents in travel sprays. I’m so picky about perfume that I have to start with a sampler to find my favorites.
Favorites:
- Running Late: energetic scent with citrus and floral notes
- Lovely Dreams: soft, floral, fresh
- Dans Les Bois: warm and woodsy
Why it’s a favorite Dime: These are clean, cruelty free perfumes made without hormone disruptors or synthetic dyes. If you’re picky about scents (or want to avoid synthetic fragrance headaches), give this set a try!
The Works Discovery Set
This set includes some of Dime’s most iconic products like their hyper glow serum, tbt cream, and hyaluronic acid serum. It’s designed for full-face care: brighten, hydrate, treat fine lines, and lock it all in. A great option if you want to overhaul your skincare.

- Night Cream
My review: This is a fantastic starter kit if you want to try a full clean beauty routine without the investment of full sizes. Each product layers well (check out how to apply your skincare products in the right order) and is generally unscented. The black packaging is always so pretty on a countertop too.
Eyelash Serum
This powerful eye set includes their Volume Mascara and eyelash boost serum (aka the Dime eyelash cult favorite). Apply the lash serum full of peptides daily for best results.
Note it can take about 60 days to see a noticeable difference, so you gotta use it consistently!
My thoughts: The serum is gentle and didn’t cause irritation for me. I’m still waiting on full results because I just started using it and I haven’t been the most consistent per their recommendation! I just moved where I store it to make it easier to remember to use. The mascara is nice for everyday wear—lengthening without clumping. And it didn’t run on me either.
Is Dime Beauty Worth It?
For those who value minimalist, cruelty free, unscented products, this is a great brand for you. Typical day and night creams can cost $100, but these products are about half of that, especially with my discount layered in. Final Thoughts
I have my go to products from Dime that I will continue to use: Wonderscreen, Biome Body Butter, and perfumes. And as someone who wants a no-fuss simple routine, they’re great for Thomas too. I’d probably get some for Mazen if he requested face skincare in the future. I’m impressed by their transparency, results, and commitment to affordable clean beauty.
