I’ll be honest: I have a bit of a shopping habit these days. Packages just seem to find their way to my apartment each week, many of which pertain to my kitchen. I can’t help it—I’m a sucker for beautiful things. I’m not the only one, either. Joanna Gaines is known for creating some stunning pieces for less, which is why her Hearth and Hand with Magnolia line is so popular at Target.

Just one perusal of this collection, and there are hundreds of items I’d want to add straight to my shopping cart. Using my expert eye, I compiled the useful, chic and fairly priced pieces I’m yearning for most. Everything below is $15 or less to boot.

Editor’s Picks for Joanna Gaines Hearth & Hand with Magnolia Collection

    • Fall Plaid Flour Sack Towel, Burgundy/Brown, $4

    • 10-Ounce Carved Edge Ceramic Mug, Green, $6

    • Ceramic Bud Vase, $7

    • 12-Ounce Coupe Glass, $8

    • Carved Edge Pasta/Grain Bowl, $10

    • 12-Inch Wood Scallop Oval Tray, $12

    • Soft Twist Taper Candles, 6-Pack, Brown, $13

    • Large Rainbow Birthday Candles, 24-Pack, $13

    • 2 Wooden Wick Ceramic Scalloped Rim Jar Candle, $15

Fall Plaid Flour Sack Towel, Burgundy/Brown

    Target

I rotate kitchen towels once or twice a week. They get used for drying hands, wiping down countertops, cleaning up spills and a whole lot more. Because they’re always on display, they need to be just as cute as they are functional. This towel will fit right into my collection thanks to the seasonal pops of color and neutral base. The $4 cost is especially key for something I know will get worn and tattered over time.

10-Ounce Carved Edge Ceramic Mug, Green

    Target

Nothing makes me more excited to pour a cup of coffee, brew hot tea or serve hot chocolate than a cute mug. This version looks high-end, but it will only run you $6. For that price, I can buy multiple! It works for hot and cold drinks and is microwave- and dishwasher-safe for fuss-free use, day in and day out.

    Ceramic Bud Vase

    Target

Bud vases are a kitchen decor item I proudly collect! They make the kitchen table pop in a way that doesn’t take over the space; your food will still shine, and you’ll be able to see everyone’s faces easily. I love the rugged look of the neutral brown and speckled tan designs here because they’ll add an extra layer of texture to your tablescape, whether for the fall holidays or during the hot summer season.

    12-Ounce Coupe Glass

    Target

These are at the top of my wishlist! I recently moved and don’t drink alcohol, so I don’t have coupe glasses of my own. You might be wondering: “Why do you want these, then?” Well, they’re perfect dessert vessels. Think mousse, pot de crème, tiramisu—the list goes on. They make a simple, sweet treat at the end of a gathering look elegant with minimal effort.

    Carved Edge Pasta/Grain Bowl

    Target

A chic pasta bowl for $10? Sign me up! Pasta bowls are the only dishes I use daily, multiple times a day. They’re great for every meal, and this option is no exception. I love the carved, unfinished edges and the sleek white interior. Use it for everything, like overnight oats or a filling grain bowl, then chuck it right into the dishwasher.

    12-Inch Wood Scallop Oval Tray

    Target

I keep a wooden tray on my kitchen table to ensure I have a few essentials organized and in one place, including salt and pepper shakers, a candle, coasters and some napkins. This $12 tray is such a cute option for those looking to do the same. The rounded scalloped edges on the tray set it apart from classic versions.

Soft Twist Taper Candles, 6-Pack, Brown

    Target

I own four colors of taper candles, and the white ones are the only ones sitting unused. Instead, I have opted for a soft brown-mauve around my apartment. The softer brown adds a vintage feel that matches the overall vibe of a taper candle. These are similar to the ones I own, but they feature a perk mine don’t have: twisted edges. This adds even more to the design, creating shadows on the candle for contrast.

    Large Rainbow Birthday Candles, 24-Pack

    Target

Speaking of candles, I couldn’t not include this 24-pack of birthday candles. As a cake-maker myself, I am always searching for toppers like these that are nicer than your run-of-the-mill grocery store candles. No shame in buying those, but these tall, colorful candles will add drama and whimsy to the finished look. With a September birthday of my own on the horizon, these might just top my birthday cake this year!

2 Wooden Wick Ceramic Scalloped Rim Jar Candle

    Target

I live in an apartment, so when I’m cooking dinner, I’m basically preparing it in my bedroom. That’s not ideal for lingering smells of garlic, spices or worse—fish. Candles are my best friend for nipping lingering scents in the bud, and the price of this wooden 2-wick option is tough to beat. They’re special in comparison to your classic thread wick version. They crackle as they burn, adding to the sensory experience. You smell the pleasant aroma, see the glimmering light and hear the hypnotizing pops. There are a variety of great scents available, and the ceramic jars come in four different colors with scalloped rims!
