I own four colors of taper candles, and the white ones are the only ones sitting unused. Instead, I have opted for a soft brown-mauve around my apartment. The softer brown adds a vintage feel that matches the overall vibe of a taper candle. These are similar to the ones I own, but they feature a perk mine don’t have: twisted edges. This adds even more to the design, creating shadows on the candle for contrast.

As a cake-maker myself, I am always searching for toppers like these that are nicer than your run-of-the-mill grocery store candles.
