A Sam’s Club supplement has been recalled nationwide due to potential Salmonella contamination, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Friday.

The agency linked Member’s Mark Super Greens supplement powder to a Salmonella outbreak in seven states that sickened 11 people, three of whom needed hospitalization.

Specifically, the FDA said a single lot of organic moringa leaf powder from Vallon Farm Direct of India—which was in the Sam’s Club supplement—is responsible for all the illnesses in the investigation.

The recall impacts every Member’s Mark Super Greens dietary supplement powder, regardless of lot code or best-by date. The products were sold exclusively at Sam’s Club online and in stores across the country.

So far, the Salmonella outbreak has reached seven states: Florida, Kansas, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

The FDA said additional products with the contaminated moringa leaf powder may be added to the recall later—the implicated lot was sent to multiple U.S. distributors.

The FDA said Sam’s Club has stopped selling the recalled supplement, but the product may still be in consumers’ homes.

If you have the affected supplement, do not use it. Instead, throw it away or return it to the store.

If you suspect you’ve consumed a contaminated supplement, monitor for common Salmonella symptoms, including diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps, and contact a doctor if any are present.
