The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has expanded a recall affecting more than three million pounds of frozen meat products sold nationwide.

On Oct. 4, Foster Poultry Farms, LLC, recalled 3,961,138 pounds of chicken and turkey corn dog products that may have had pieces of wood embedded in the batter. On Oct. 17, 118,098 additional pounds of meat were added to the recall.

The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has received multiple complaints connected to the recall—six of which involved injuries—and classified the recall as “Class I,” meaning the products have a “reasonable probability” of “serious adverse health consequences or death” if consumed.

The recalled products were produced between Jul. 30, 2024 through Aug. 4, 2025, and sold at retail stores nationwide, including Walmart and Sam’s Club.

The recalled Foster Farms products include:

    • Corn Dogs Chicken Franks Dipped in Honey Batter
    • Gluten Free Corn Dogs Chicken Franks Dipped in Honey Batter
    • Jumbo Corn Dogs Chicken Franks Dipped in Honey Batter
    • Chicken Corn Dogs Honey Batter Dipped Chicken Frank On a Stick
    • Chicken Corn Dogs Batter Wrapped Chicken Frankfurters On a Stick
    • Whole Grain, Maple Flavored Pancake Wraps Whole Grain Pancake Batter Around a Pre-Cooked Ground Turkey and Textured Vegetable Protein Link on a Stick
    • Whole Grain, Maple Flavored Pancake Wraps Whole Grain Pancake Batter Around a Pre-Cooked Ground Turkey and Textured Vegetable Protein Link on a Stick Individually Wrapped
    • Whole Grain Chicken Corn Dog Whole Grain Batter Wrapped Chicken Franks on a Stick Lower Fat
    • Jumbo Corn Dogs Honey Crunchy Flavored Batter

All produts have the establishment number “P-6137B” on the packaging. A full list of products—including package sizes, use-by dates, and label images—can be found on the FSIS’s website.

This Foster Farms recall follows a similar recall initiated in September by The Hillshire Brands Company of approximately 58 million pounds of corn dog and sausage on a stick products, also possibly contaminated with pieces of wood in the batter.

The recalled products are no longer on store shevles, but the FSIS is concerned that some products may still be in consumers’ refrigerators and freezers.

If you have any of these products at home, the FSIS says you should not eat them—instead, throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.

If you have any additional questions, you can contact Foster Farms Consumer Affairs at 1-800-338-8051 or email [email protected].
