Jimmie Allen has been found liable of assault, battery, invasion of privacy and infliction of emotional distress against an unnamed woman in a sexual assault lawsuit.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly on Tuesday, August 19, Judge Aleta A. Trauger ruled that Allen, 40, and his legal team “failed to comply” with multiple orders of the court. The judge subsequently granted the woman’s — known only as Jane Doe —motion for sanctions against the country singer.

“We are pleased that the court entered judgment in her favor and look forward to proving her damages,” Doe’s attorney, Elizabeth Fegan, said in a statement to Billboard on Monday, August 18. “The court’s ruling makes clear that Allen cannot simply ignore the serious consequences of his actions.”

Us has reached out to Allen for comment.

Jimmie Allen‘s former manager dropped the lawsuit against the country singer after accusing him of sexual assault and rape, Us Weekly can confirm. The woman, identified as Jane Doe in court documents, dismissed her claims against Allen in the Middle Tennessee District Court after suing the artist, his former management company, Wide Open Music, and […]

Allen and the touring company, Aadyn’s Dad Touring, were sued by Doe back in June 2023. Doe accused Allen of sexually assaulting and secretly videotaping her in a Las Vegas hotel room in July 2022.

According to the lawsuit, Doe claimed that she “willingly joined Allen in the bedroom,” but she “repeatedly told him she did not want him to ejaculate inside her” because she was not on birth control. Doe claimed that Allen allegedly did not follow through with her request and filmed the encounter on his phone, despite her not giving him consent to be recorded.

Jane Doe was not the only person to accuse Allen of sexual assault. Allen’s former manager, who remained anonymous in the documents, also sued the singer in May 2023 and accused him of sexual assault and rape. The manager claimed that Allen “manipulated and used his power” to “sexually harass and abuse her” over the span of 18 months, from 2020 to 2022.

Allen denied the accusations from both women in a July 2023 statement to Us. “For years, I have dealt with racism and harmful threats solely because I am a Black man in the country music industry, and this situation has only amplified that. As the son and brother of rape victims, and the father of daughters, these false claims are extremely hurtful to me and everyone around me.”

The musician continued: “As the legal process runs its course, I look forward to the opportunity to clear my name. I am forever thankful for those who have stood by me and helped me share the truth. My team and I look forward to putting this behind us and getting back to the music.”

In March 2024, Us confirmed that the former manager dropped her lawsuit against Allen.
