These five popular chains serve hand-cut french fries with their burgers.

Burgers and fries are two peas in a pod. It would be wrong to get one without the other, so if you’re hunting down a delicious, juicy burger to have on the go for a quick dinner, or simply because you’re craving it, hand cut fries on the side is a must. The quality is noticeable when they’re freshly cut, it makes all the difference in the world. Here are five popular chains where you can get hand cut french fries.

    Penn Stations East Coast Subs

Penn Stations East Coast Subs is a chain known for food beyond their subs. Their fresh cut fries are cut from Idaho potatoes and flash fried in cholesterol free peanut oil, which almost makes them sound healthy (don’t be fooled, they’re not, but they are delicious). That’s not the only thing they make from scratch! Pair that with a cup of their homemade lemonade, hand squeezed daily, to wash those fries down.

    Five Guys

Five Guys doesn’t disappoint, especially when it comes to their fries. I personally enjoy their burgers quite a bit, but their fries are what really stands out. Five Guys definitely has some tricks up their sleeves, starting with the sliced fries essentially having a day at the spa full of cold plunges and starch soaks before even going into the fryer. Another trick is frying them twice in peanut oil to really lock in that crispy outer layer.6254a4d1642c605c54bf1cab17d50f1e

    BurgerFi

BurgerFi truly stands out from your average fast food burger chain, paying close attention to quality instead of cutting corners. Choosing Angus beef burgers that are free of antibiotics and hormones is just the start. This standard spills over into their fries. Their classic salted fries are never frozen, made fresh in house, and diners can taste the difference.

    Mooyah

Mooyah serves a wide variety of burgers, including fun options like the Hamburdo, blending their certified Angus beef burger topped with an all beef hotdog, bacon, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, fried onions, and ketchup on a potato bun, blending two summertime staples into one handheld staple. A burger isn’t complete without a side of fries, and for Mooyah, that starts with the quality of the potato. Their hand cut Idaho potato french fries can be served on their own, loaded up with green chili queso, toppings, or even turned into chili cheese fries.

    In-N-Out

In-N-Out has its reputation for a reason. Not only are their burgers fantastic, but that branches out into how they do their fries, as well. The hand cut potatoes are then fried in 100% sunflower oil, creating their delicious signature salty fries.
